1572 - first built with light materials by Augustinian Father Fernando Pinto
1660-1770 - rebuilt with stronger materials
1868-1894 - Church and Convent repaired by Father Manuel Camanes

considered the Sistine Chapel of the Philippines"

This Church is a National Cultural Treasure









The Ceiling and walls of the Church were painted
by Simon Flores, Macario Ligon and Jose Ligon
